Compared to many of my life problems...this is probably the worst. I am a fifteen year old male. I'm in 9th grade. My weight is approximately 94.4lbs and im about 5"4.. My biological parents are (Dad) 6"7 (Mom) 5"11. I have ADHD (I take a daily 60mg of vyvanse for) and also insomnia (I take about 30mg of clonidine before bed) so...why am I so short/small? I'm just skin and bones...I get bullied alot because of it, but my mom keeps saying "YOU'LL JUST SHOOT UP ONE DAY!" I love her positive outlook but am I really? I'm pretty positive I've hit puberty, I have the hair to prove it. But seriously? Why? I'm tiny as hell...and I need answers.

My doctor is prescribing me everything but Clonidine for my blood pressure. I was on it 3 years ago but I lost my insurance and have to go to a different doctor now. I have completely lost faith in government run healthcare. Anyhow, can someone point me in the right direction as to which site that doesn't require a script for Clonidine? It is not a narcotic so I would think it'd be one of the easier ones to find. Thank you ahead of time for your help!

My doctor has had me on many different blood pressure meds and none of them have worked. Toprol didn't, Labetalol didn't, and Lisinopril didn't. I know that Clonidine works for me but I lost my insurance and can't afford to see anyone but volunteer doctors who come in knowing what prescriptions they want me on before we even talk. My blood pressure is 170/110 with a 125 bpm. Can someone guide me in the right direction or is it the internet pharmacy thing bogus?

Some of the other medications for an example are Clonidine (for high blood pressure/insomnia), Clindamycin (antibiotic), Soma (carisoprodol, muscle relaxer) AZO (Phenazopyridine, for UTI pain/ frequency).

My close friend had a very bad daily opiate habit (80-120 mgs of Oxys and Hydros on average, all at once and through the day) for a year and a half. While withdrawing he ate a moderate dose of Amanitas and felt great. It really stopped the Withdrawals and took away cravings. Has anyone ever heard of this? He credits them with helping him stop for good.
@Abe: Methadone is ridiculous, and addictive. It is just as bad as any other opiate. Amanita Muscaria is not poisonous, but it's relatives are deadly.
If they are toxic, then My friend and others have eaten 10-14 grams on like 15 occasions and never had any problems... I've never read anything about people dying SPECIFICALLY from Amanita MUSCARIA. The Other Amanitas are deadly toxic.
Also Kratom can be addictive... The Point is Not to be addicted.

I'm only 32 and slim, appearing healthy, but obviously not with average 150/100 blood pressure, and 95-105+ pulse. These are averages and always at rest, including 1st thing in the morning which is only marginally lower ~ 140/95 with 80 pulse, for example.
I was previously on Clonidine (Catapres) at 0.2 mg twice daily, but my new Dr. said that drug is "unusual" and put me on a tiny dose of metoprolol, a beta blocker, at 12.5 mg once daily, but because it was doing *nothing* after 5 days, was I wrong to increase the dosage to 25 mg myself? The answer is "yes," I was "wrong," but when I got a hold of her eventually, I called her on it, pointing out that 100 mg is the normal STARTING dose. I did it nicely though, calm down, and can understand that she was only trying to minimize drug use in a healthy (looking) 32 yr old.
I also explained that I understood the parameters and monitored very closely, looking for signs of getting light-headed, dizzy, &etc, so she said to go ahead an inc

Hello there, I really didn't want to ask,I talked to my Dad, haven't really talked to my Mom, I haven't told any counselors, teachers, students, I just get these weird moments, where I feel like I'm living them again, about the past, and I'm there, and it's my past, most of these are bad, and embarrassing moments, while some really aren't important at all, It's usually when I have nothing to occupy myself, so after school at lunch, and no I'm not taking a book or an alternative, I like to stay away from technology, I do sit alone, but I often sit with my Dad, and we talk at lunch, because my parents work there.
I feel like, since I've been involved in Taekwondo, the flash backs are a lot less frequent, they don't happen that much, but I started to notice this, after I went to a hapkido seminar, I didn't have to put a major focus on anything that day, and I kept having flashbacks later on, about execution, (How to do the movements, where to put my hand, etc.) I find that it's been bo

This is going to sound so stupid. When I take my medications, I sit on the side of my bed, I lean backwards, and I keep my back totally straight, fill my mouth with water, and I drop the pills directly into my throat. I've always done this. Last night, I was taking my final dose as usual at 6 pm, and as I was leaning as far back as I could go without falling over, I felt a sudden pain in the lower thoracic/upper lumbar region of my back. I got up, and the area where I experienced the pain felt very hot. After 2 hours of moderate pain, I took a 750 mg Slow Release Naprosyn tablet. Then, 3 hours later, I took 10 mg of Valium and a strong dose of Extended release Tylenol. When I hopped into bed, I felt a sharp pain where I hurt my back, and it radiated down both legs. Today, I have taken my normal medications (which by chance are helpful for pain). These include Klonopin, Ativan, Clonidine, and Baclofen. Now, the pain is mild, but the area still feels hot. 2 Years ago, I had a compressi

I was on Clonidine for almost three years until my job position was terminated and had to begin work with a "mom and pop business". Since then, I went from having great health care to attending a government subsidized health center. I hate it, but with a history of seizures, high blood pressure, and underactive thyroid; I have to take what's available. So since I've been there, they've tried three different blood pressure meds trying to find something that works besides Clonidine. They said the rebound effect from Clonidine is bad, but I never experienced any such side effects. So, in the last 22 months, I've been on three different medications. All three have had detrimental effect to my health. I am currently on Lusinopril and I always dream about death and destruction. From my Pawpaw dying, to me personally playing Russian Roulette, to watching someone get decapitated, The nightmares are awful and I am going in Monday to notify them that I cannot keep on with this. Okay, so for the past five or six months, my grandma has been extremely paranoid about everything and everyone.
When she first started acting like this, she would only talk about how people were following her around, on foot, by car, and even going into her house. She is convinced that her old employer, a medical facility, has hired people to try to stalk her and try to kill her for her health benefits. She even believes that several stalkers have moved into her condominium complex and stalk her 24/7. She has even suggested that I, am one of her stalkers as well.
Now, the paranoia and has progressively gotten worse, and she now thinks that her (neighbors, more specifically the man who lives in the unit under her) are trying to kill her with "unbearable fumes that supposedly come through the flooring, phone jacks, doors, and windows", saying that the smells range from marijuana to bleach and ammonia. Every time I, or anyone else in the family have been in her house, there is no sm

I'm using it for adult ADHD. It's cheaper than Adderall (which I did well on, I just can't afford it). Clonidine makes me feel very drunk. Like stumbling, slurring, taking off your glasses to see better drunk. I can't work like that.
The instructions say to take one a day (I'm on 0.1mg, if it matters). but doesn't say when. Can I take it at night before bed and it still work right?
I was diagnosed at ten. But I'm just now getting treatment, since I got worse with age. I have tons of coping skills, but don't know much about the medication options. I've googled Clonidine, but it doesn't really answer my question and the doctor's office is being unhelpful.

I am a minor and have been going to a psychiatrist for a little over 8 years, or about half of my life. I have been going for problems ranging from OCD to ADHD to severe anxiety. My main problem now is the severity of my anxiety.
When you are my age, doctors are usually against prescribing such a drug because of its potential for abuse, but I believe that i have reached the point to where I need such a powerful drug. A main concern of mine in obtaining the prescription is that I am also prescribed Vyvanse which is a stimulant but I need one of the 4 major benzos( Vallium, Xanax, ect.) which is a sedative. In my short life I have never found getting high too enjoyable, I only look for some mental stability which may or may not come in the form of a little pill. I do not write this as a junkie looking for a new high, but an adolescent who wants nothing more than a little relaxation and sedation from my daily panic attacks and frequent mental breakdowns. Please help :(

He did a EKG and said it looked alright. I went back a week later and the bp dropped to 142/90. Now he made me take blood test and urine test for possible Pheochromocytoma tumor? My psychiatrist is rude, arrogant, and does not listen to me, only goes by what is in the file which he says cannot contain errors despite the fact that it does including my misdiagnosis. After reporting side effects from the medication he increased the dosage. That to me is malpractice. I have obtained my records and they contain things i supposedly said in quotation marks. These are things that I did not say at all or are not phrased the way I said them, so they should not be in quotation marks. I have looked up the diagnosis (unspecified psychosis) online and I do not meet any of the criteria as I do not hear voices, I do not see things, I do not have delusions. What I do have is simply severe Anxiety and Depression. He refuses to prescribe anything for the anxiety other than clonidine which is a blood pressure medication. I have a friend who's planning on taking a bunch of MDMA next weekend. He says he thinks he might "overdo" it because it's a concert that lasts 3 days. I remember that once a friend of ours who was on Prozac took like a normal couple points of MDMA and didn't roll at all one time when everyone else did.
So, my question is: if this friend of mine overdoes himself on MDMA somehow or takes too much and gets serotonin syndrome or something, would giving him one of my old Avanza (mirtazapine - a selective serotonin and adrenaline reuptake inhibitor) help him out at all? Also, would it help to take that afterwards anyway? I also have very few valium and the legal supplement phenibut, which could both help with anxiety coming down, or hypertension if he overdoes. Oh, and I also have some clonidine, which is an adrenergic anti-hypertension drug.

The cops gave me the option to 1)Give up my paraphernalia willingly and not have any trouble, Or 2)Have the dogs find it, take it anyway, and arrest me. Right in front of my parents I gave them my rolling papers, my lighter, my bowl, all my weed, bong, etc. I thought I had nothing left but forgot there was weed in the bottom of my deodorant(great place to store it btw, masks the smell beautifully). I wrote a question a few weeks about a chronic aching in my right hip area. The pain radiates around the hip area into my groin and sometimes I feel it going down my leg, not often but it does more around. I got a lot of great answers and thanks to you all.
I took an ultra sound and cat scan last week and today my doctor called and said he got the results and everything was normal. I was happy but puzzled. I asked my doctor why is the right hip area aching if everything came back normal and he said he didn't know. He said he is going to refer me to a pain specialist.
I don't know how long I can deal with this constant aching, it's been 3 months, I have pain meds but I want this problem resolved and the meds are wearing off rather quickly now. Sometimes the ache is severe and sometimes it's barely there but some degree of it is always there.
