On Saturday I had a big headache and nausea, I thought I had a fever. The day (Sunday) after I still had the headache and nausea and had a normal diarrhea early in the afternoon. Well A couple weeks ago I was in the emergency dept for extreme vomiting and I couldn't urinate, they checked my urine and said there was a lot of blood so they did a ct, showed nothing. Well the past few days the pain has been getting progressively worse, and today its almost unbearable. I've found I have difficulty urinating. I have to stand there for a good 20 seconds (sometimes a couple minutes if I'm unlucky) before I can get the flow started (though there is no pain and once the flow starts there's no issues with it being slow, stopping, etc.) I also only pee once a day usually, and it is dark (sign of dehydration?) even though I drink 2+ litres of water a day, sometimes over 4. Probably unrelated to this, I have polonidal cyst/sinus problems (getting operated on in a little over a month), aswell as difficulty with bowel movements. My anus feels kind of.. dry I guess, and it feels like my bowels aren't properly "grasping" onto the stool to push it out. I get it out usually but with more effort than I think a small stool should require... and there is sometimes some blood on the stool, other times there isn't. Hi, So I've been really suffering with stomach complains ever since I had a stomach bug about 2 months ago. I went to the Dr and was given Lansoprazle for acid - it didn't work. I then had Bloods (Imfammation, liver fuction, anemia) and X-ray and a urine sample which came back okay. I was then given Meberverine and fybogel for ibs and a very bland diet. When the months course was over I felt no better. I went back and asked for a second opinion. I was given Hyoscine Butylbromide for 1 week. Didn't work. I've also been using peppermint capsuls for a month too no effect. Though my symptoms are like ibs and my mom was diagnosed with it over 20 years ago, why hasn't any of the medication plus a really bland diet for 2 months helped at all? I eat only real bland food (rice, toast, boiled fish, fruit) and drink only water and even on that diet I still don't feel good, though some days are better than others. Hi so I am 21 which is a peak, It does run in my family, I had a stomach bug which seemed to set it all off and my symptoms sound very similar. But this started 2 months ago and after blood tests and an X-ray my Dr said it was ibs. She put me on Mebeverine, fybogel and a ibs diet. A month later I felt no better. Ok, I must add this detail. A week ago I tried to overdose. That's over and done and not what this question is about. The side effects of all the medicine passed and is gone. However, something strange is still going on in my body. When it's quiet, I can hear sounds coming from my abdomen. For the past 3 weeks I've been having stomach pain(around the lower abdomen) after eating almost any kind of food. This stomach ache has caused me to go to the toilet frequently several times a day. I don't get any diarrhea but every time I go to the toilet I end up not defecating much. My whole life I have suffered from watery eyes but I always thought nothing could be done so I have just put up with it. However, since last year it has been really bad. Especially this year!.
