I'm on day 5 and the hurt worse then ever. Someone please help me, my doctor won't give me any more pain killers and I am taking about 800 mg of ibuprofen ever 3-4 hours which barley helps. My teeth hurt soooooooooooo bad I don't know what to do. When do they stop hurting? Day 6? Day 10? And what can I do besides pain killers to make them feel better??!?!?!

he was at hospital yesterday were he was given a steroid he was later discharged and i was told to give him infant paracetamol and ibuprofen ...He is coughing really badly about a hour ago i gave him a dose of ibuprofenn but he was sick 10Min's later can i give him another dose..Also has anyone any other advice what i can do to ease the pain for him I have been taking him into a steam fill room but only eases him for a little bit

My sweetheart broke her collar bone, but refuses to take drugs of any kind! (and personally, she's driving me nuts pretending like she isn't in pain) So what would you suggest? We've already tried Valerian Tea, but it didn't work. She's allergic to to Aspirin and Tylenol and Ibuprofen doesn't work on her... so do you have any thoughts?

It was fine the first two days, but today, on the third it started to bleed quite alot.Not as much as I would suspect. Is this normal? Should I wait it out, will the bleeding go down? I took an ibuprofen, and that can make blood thinner, could that also be why?

I believe aspirin is an anticoagulant. I thought the problem with pulmonary embolism is blood clots traveling to the lungs. So wouldn't the priority here is to dissolve that clot? Why then the treatment is to not take aspirin, an anticoagulant? One of the key points of anticoagulation therapy is patient SHOULD NOT take drugs containing aspiring (Iggy, Medical Surgical Nursing) I'm confused

Hello. I had one of my molar teeth extracted on thursday. I was in a lot of pain that day. i was fine yesterday, and did not need a lot of pain medication (i was taking every 12 hours instead of 6). Then this morning, it started to hurt a lot. I have been taking both my Hydrocodone AND my 800 Ibuprofen and I am in so much pain. Did this get infected or is this normal? There is still some bleeding in that area as well.

Okay, so I got my wisdom teeth removed on Thursday at 10 am (all 4). The first day wasn't too bad, numbing lasted for a majority of the day and the Vicodin helped quite a bit. Second day, my face became swollen and pain was worse than day one. Im having a sharp pain in the top of my foot, seems like its my second metatarsal. also pain in the arch. i do dance, and i have a really long ballet class, but i don't remember anything specific triggering pain. sometimes it hurts to walk, and other times it doesn't hurt no matter what i do. it hurts more after a long dance lesson, but after icing and taking ibuprofen the pain goes away completely. Hey guys, I'm new to this site and wanted to seek some advice regarding my pimple. I decided to squeeze it yesterday and knowing the result has turned purple and bruised. Five days ago my back went out. It was awful lower-back pain that hurt no matter what I did, even after lots of Ibuprofen. Three days after the pain started I began to have mild flu-like symptoms. I'm not sure if it's Swine Flu or not (low fever, body aches, sore throat, cough, headache), but I'm just wondering if other people who've had the flu also had serious back pain. ok so i fell at work two months ago and apparently sprained my knee. Hours later her back started hurting... she went to the emergency room and an X-Ray found she had a compressed fracture. They simply told her to take ibuprofen and a muscle relaxant (which we haven't filled yet because we are broke). I just had my wisdom teeth pulled out on friday and the packing was removed tuesday and my lower jaw and teeth are killing me, and I can't stop grinding my teeth either...? Which is just making my jaw pain worsen. My jaw is also very tight. I know people say take tylenol but it isn't working and neither is Ibuprofen or aleve or excedrin. I have been having this bad headache on the right side of my head. My neck and face aren't hurting. Neither is my back. Open Question: What would happen to someone who took two paracetamol, four anadin extra and six ibuprofen at once?

My friend is always trying to hurt herself i've tried to get her to speak to counselors but she won't let them help and now she has taken roughly two paracetamol, four anadin extra and about six ibuprofen (thats all that was in her cup board ) i don't think she was trying to kill herself just cause pain! she wouldn't let me do anything so her parents told me to go home while they sort it. will she be ok ? what will those drugs do to her if left un-treated ?

Ok let me start from the beginning last friday i went to the doctor with boils under my armpits and he diagnosed it staph infection and gave me bactrim for antibiotics. i have been taking them like im supposed to but it wasnt until yesterday morning i woke up feeling dizzy, nauseated, and very warm... I felt better throughout the day but still not 100% i fell asleep pretty early last night which is unusual for me feeling freezing cold with 3 blankets all the way over my head woke up this morni
