Hi, I'm pretty sure I had a yeast infection. I had most of the symptoms, itching, a little burning, only a little bit of white discharge with the faint bread smell and dryness. I got monistat 3 and did some research on how it works. Apparently it's supposed to come out after a while, but I haven't had any discharge or any of the cream come out. I put it in last night before I went to bed. I'm really freaked out, what it it's stuck in there?! The cream is solidified and it's supposed to spread out but what if it didnt? I had a bladder infection. I got anitbiotics which is called cyprofloxa. Now after taking that I am horribly itchy down there it's actually painful from how bad it itches. I called the doctor to see if I'm allergic he just told me that means the anitobiotics are working and to use monistat. Monistat isn't helping the itch. Ok, so today is Tuesday may 21st, and on Saturday when I took a shower I accidentally got strong scented and colored Olay soap up in my vagina and it gave me a yeast infection. Now, I know to never get soap in that area, I usually just wash around the area, thighs and such, and use water, but I was in a hurry and wasn't paying attention. I am prone to yeast infections, and have been since I was little. I've been fighting off a particularly bad couple since March. I'm 16, have had 2 sexual partners (both tested clean) and have been tested myself. Clean. I've been on hormonal birth control for almost two years, but was switched over, medication wise, back in September. Since then, I have been under an incredible amount of stress at home and haven't been sleeping well. I treated my yeast infection in March with Monistat 3, which worked fine, and lasted up until a few days ago. I've been treating with Monistat 7 for the last couple days, and it isn't helping much. (Granted, I've only used two doses.) I have white, scentless, lumpy discharge (which resemble pieces of wet, balled-up toilet paper) with severe itching and mild burning, occasionally with bumps and a light rash.
