Hello I'm 18 female, well I have been having a tough time with body image and have low self esteem due to acne, When I was fifteen I went from having crystal clear skin to really bad acne, since then I have tried 4 different types of acne antibiotic type medications ( tetracyclines and stuff ), I then had roaccutane ( but had to cut it at five months as my white blood count got too low and I was ill) and have now been taking co cyprindol for the last two months .... However it's getting worse and worse and I don't even feel like going out or anything now. Someone brings calves from a different state to south easteren texas. I found the salesman a few days after he brought the latest crop from a city wrapped in a blizzard. They're dragging a bit, not use to the heat and humidity we're having right now and the one I picked has scours. He's not as bad but is about to be moved to my barn & soon after that will be dehorned. Stress is building so how can handle the scours the stress is causing? He's not sick at all, doesnt pant often and has least drooling from the heat. I'm switching his feed to Purina Impact Club Calf which has quite a high amount of fiber. I have been looking all over my usual forums the past few days, and just can not find an answer to my problem. I have 2 goldfish in a 36 gallon bowfront (along with my other 5 tanks..) and I've gotta say, they are the favorites. Those little faces! Anyway. They are an oranda and a pearlscale. My pearlscale I got about a month ago after my tank was finally done fishless cycling. He was perfectly fine until around a week ago, a few days after I got my oranda. I should have done a quarantine, or even a dip, but I was careless. This was a lot due to the fact that my oranda looked (and still looks) perfectly healthy. He's a deeper orange though, so it's hard to see red discoloration on him if there is any. A couple days after getting my oranda my pearlscale developed reddishness around his gills, on the underside. I can only guess my oranda brought something along with him. So, about a year ago I had really bad acne. Most of it were pimples under the skin that I couldn't get. I used products like benzoyl peroxide but it never did anything cause it couldn't get the pimples. Over time the small pimples on my cheeks went away(I don't know how) but then big pimples came. My oranda noodles has been upside down for nearly 6 months. I've tried feeding him peas, swim bladder medicine, starving him for a few days - nothing has worked. My brothers friend even tried squeezing him to 'fart' him. ( banned him from the house for this, as I consider that weird and cruel, but he run the aquatics dept at local pet shop and says its safe). Besides the fact that he is permanently upside down, he seems quite happy. His fins are full and healthy, and his scales look great. I just make sure to hand feed him and he gets his share. His tank mates are all fine. I've had them all for about 5 years, so it can't be a newly introduced disease. Does anyone know what has caused this? I jut assumed that as he grew his swim bladder got distorted (he's approx 8 inches long now). Is there any way to get him upright? I'm a 26 year old man from India. Although people say acne doesn't occur past teenage, its happening a lot with me even now. Believe me, I NEVER touch or prick them, still they leave ugly black marks on my face. Actually I get two kinds of acne. One type starts near the surface of my face's skin, fills with pus, and goes away soon. It does leave marks, but these marks don't last more than a couple of months. He won't eat or drink, he just sits in is igloo all day. He's been to the vets twice, had antibiotics, his teeth filed (even though the vet didn't think they were that bad in the first place). They also claimed they couldn't find anything else wrong, no lumps or tender spots. Been syringe feeding him on a special recovery formula, which is just keeping him going. He's on a second lot of antibiotics just in case but there's been no improvement so far. At this rate I think it may be kinder to let him go but I was wondering, what could this be? i have been on tetracycline from october 2011-janruary 2012 for mild nodular acne. it went away so the doctor took me off it however in april 2012 it returned but more severe but not as nodules, it was whiteheads mainly but a lot of them so doctor gave me zinc and erythromycin and oxytetracycline which didnt work then switched to doxycycline which got rid of the white heads but now the acne has become nodular (no whiteheads), does this mean doxycycline cannot deal with nodular acne and i should go to the doctor and be put back on tetracycline? thanks for help. >>More<<

I have mild acne. It is not AWFUL, like some peoples. But it gets me down. I tend to get them on my cheeks and chin. I used to on my forehead, but this cleared up years ago - until recently, I will explain in a bit. Before I was on tetralysal I was on oxytetracycline for three months. I found that I was supposed to be taking 2 a day but I had only been taking 1 and my acne has gotten worse. So my doctor put me on tetralysal. I have taken these for 25 days, so just over three weeks. At the start I was positive, however, at the end of week 2 and start of week 3 of boy.. I complete broke out ALL over my forehead and down the sides and on my nose!!! It is disgusting! For three months I was on oxytetracycline. I discovered that I had only been taking 1 tablet a day instead of 2 and I had found that my spots were getting worse. For just over 3 weeks I have now been taking tetralysal. However, my spots are even worse, like worse than even oxytetracycline. I have had acne for about 3 years. Up until 3 months ago, I was on creams, I actually tried 3 different creams. They would work and then a couple of months later my skin would just get used to them. 3 months ago my doctor put me on a three month course of oxytetracycline, I found that it made little difference (but that may just be me being picky, my mum said she could see a slight improvement). My skin is weird now, the spots don't full form. They just go to a flat red mark, as if they were trying to form, yet couldnt quite. Okay, so my skin is really getting me down! It is not completely covered in spots, but the spots it is covered in are awful!
