Because I moderate a site for a certain type of rare chronic pain, I get a lot of questions regarding Pain Management. I don't have all of the answers. Doctors are different. Pain Management contracts are different. This is a strange situation. My heart really goes out to my friend, who is a single parent, is trying to support more than one child. He can't work without pain medication. When his pain strikes, if he doesn't take his medication, he is sidelined. It is a bad neuropathy, possibly the worst kind. As explained by his Mom, his pain doctor became agitated with him because he had been short on a few pill counts, as well as had some medicine fall out of his backpack, or be stolen. He filed a police report, and still is unsure which happened. I got a prescription for oxycodone. Immediate release with no tylenol in it. Roxicodone 15mg I got them because I got hit by a car. I'm fine but I'm in a lot of pain. I just got home from the hospital, I have a few broken bones. I'm supossed to take 1-2 every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. Max daily dose: 6 I took one earlier, then another one an hour later. Hello all. I am having a serious problem at the moment and am certainly running out of options, very quickly. I was in a car accident recently and had two plates and multiple screws put in my left ankle and was also diagnosed with three herniated discs in my cervical spine. I was previously on vicodin 10/325 and the doctor changed it to percocet 10/325 (4x a day as needed) and opana 30er. My insurance was cancelled when I lost my job and I was given 90 days of roxicodone 30 until I could get a new job and insurance. My mother is prescribed 360 5mg OxyCodones per month. She takes them for Arthritis. She just had her second knee replaced and isn't going to make it her entire month on this one that was filled when she got out of the hospital. Now, the hospital doctor wrote her a prescription for 90 of 5mg Oxycodone (Roxicodone). The prescription says it just like that. The hospital doctor wrote her that one knowing about her other one. It WAS NOT like she was getting them from multiple doctors with out telling them. Her first knee replacement went well, very very little pain and a fast recovery. This one has been a bit more rough, and she has taken a little bit more than normal of her pills. Now she is scarred that she won't have enough to last the entire 30 days. I've been taking lortab for over 2 years. I usually take between 2-3 10 mg pills of it a day. Recently I've been getting into roxicodone. I snort around 1-2 30 mg pills of it a day. I never experienced bad withdrawal from lortab but once I started taking the roxi withdrawal started to hit me hard. I want to get off it and am wondering how long it takes? My 23 year old daughter is a meth and roxicodone abuser. I have arranged a halfway house for her... she is hours away from living on the street. Out of couches to sleep on. the reason i started on the drugs is i had 4 slipped discs in my lower back. Was left to long to get seen by specialist. finally when i saw 1 i was told my discs were leaning on my nerves was then booked in to have an op but on day of surgery i was told to go away and loose weight b4 they'd operate. My husband is prescribed oxycodone hydrochloride 30mg for his back (his L4 and L5), and normally when he gets them they are blue with an "M" on one side and a "30" on the other. This time, it is still blue, but larger and has a "224" on one side and nothing on the other. He said he feels dizzy after taking it & kinda sick, but I don't understand why he would be having different side effects if this is the same thing they always give him. I told him it's just in his head but he says he is sure he feels weird and he said it's not helping w/ his back pain like it normally does, he said they "suck".
