I have been taking Yasmin birth control for almost a month now, tomorrow will be my last day on the yellow pills and the sugar pills will begin on sunday, meaning i should get my period in 2 days. but today when i went to the bathroom i noticed a stringy yellow-white mucus when i went to wipe (sorry tmi) would this be ovulation orr is it that cirvical mucus type things that happens when on the pill? i dont want to have unprotected sex if im going to get pregnant, thanks!

My problem is that on Thursday I had sex and my boyfriend finished inside of me. I usually take my pills at 9pm but the same Thursday I forgot to take it! On Friday I took one pill at 9pm and at 11pm I remembered I forgot the one from Thursday and I took it. Now I was thinking to take Plan B pill but my friends said it is not nessesary. Recently when I go to get my perscription filled in for my birth control pill Yasmin they ask me if I'd like the generic or the name brand. I was wondering am I taking any risks if I choose the generic brand? In June I had a Depo shot but didn't get another because of side effects, then was prescribed Yasmin and have taken them until this week. Now, I have not been the best at taking my pills on time every day and sometimes only remembered late at night (when I usually took them in the morning), and sometimes missed a dose and took two the next day... I take them regularly and haven't taken any other medicines so pregnancy is unlikely. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I'm going to buy a pregnancy test just in case but thought I'd see while I'm online!
