so my son is in special ed... he was diagnosed with autism by a doctor and by the school distric to be emotional disturbed...so the bus driver has written him up twice for his behavior and today he told me his behavior has to stop or one more and i would need to walk and pick him up? i know their are rules but it seems like they are not understanding him.. he already has to wear a harness. just when i though it was bad enough i was sent an email by his teacher telling me .... regarding our spr

my girlfriend has been taking the anti convulsant/anti seizure medication zonisamide. She's been on it for 6 weeks. She takes 3 100 milligram pills at bedtime...3 days ago she was in the hospital because she woke up in the morning with a rash on her face and neck...the doctors said she was probably allergic to an antibiotic she has been recently taking for a sinus infection. she stopped taking the antibiotic immediately because of fear of that allergy to it ( antibiotic is amoxicillin)...anywa

I suffer from about 15 migraines per month. I take Imitrex as an abortive and narcotics to regulate the pain. I have tried preventatives such as Topamax, Neurotin, Citalophram... etc. I have a hard time dealing with the side effects of each one. Mostly, I experience extreme fatigue, incresed mood swings and a decreased libido. What are some migraine preventatives that do not carry such severe side effects? My 2 year old beagle, Buster, has had nasal discharge from his left nostril for about a year, sneezing, and nasal congestion. The Vets gave him numerous antibiotics and blew the issue off as allergies. The antibiotics have not worked at all. Recently, his condition has worsened. My medications: Nexium 40mg Lamictal 300 mg Wellbutrin 400 mg Celexa 40 mg Zonisamide 200 mg Metformin 1000 mg I read something about adderall interacting badly with MAOIs. It causes something called Serotonin Syndrome? My doctor wants to start me with 10mg of quick release adderall and work from there, but this medicine sounds scary...

I am considering participating in a medical study in an effort to boost my financal status. The medication being tested is Zonisamide. I have checked it out on the internet, and there appears to be a few side effects - but nothing serious; nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness. I'll earn approx £1000. I am nervous about doing it. What do you guys think I should do?

I have epilepsy. I have tried just about every anti-convulsant drug out there, but just the other day my consultant suggested Zonisamide, trade name 'Zonegran'. Has anybody else been on this drug, got any experiences, good or bad.

Hi, I have a back/neck injury and I get hiccups ALL the time (like 15-20 times a day), and I'm wondering if it could it be related. I was diagnosed with brachial and cervical plexus neuralgia; my hands have myoclonic twitching, I have pain down my arms, in my chest, and my upper back, headaches, etc. The muscles in my upper body have also fibrosed and all my doctors say that they are the hardest muscles they've ever felt! I read the other day that the pneumogastric nerve is responsible for hic

Her hands sake and her eyes fluter, it happens about twice a month, I see a doctor and he put her on Zonisamide for a seizure. But its not helping her. What can I do? I feel upset that I can't help her. We been married for 43 years and it makes a man helpless.
