This case suggests a potential Niquitin Cq 4mg Lozenge Dizziness side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A 49-year-old patient from BR (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): NA and used Niquitin Cq 4mg Lozenge (dosage: 4mg Single Dose) starting Oct 07, 2013. Soon after starting Niquitin Cq 4mg Lozenge the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Cardio-respiratory Arrest
  • Laryngospasm
  • Throat Tightness
  • Heart Rate Irregular
  • Chills
  • Hyperhidrosis
  • Heart Rate Increased
  • Dizziness
  • Dyspnoea
Drugs used concurrently:NA. Although Niquitin Cq 4mg Lozenge demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Dizziness, may still occur.

Adverse event was reported on May 20, 2013 by a Female taking Niquitin 21mg (Dosage: 21mg Per Day) . Location: BR , 47 years of age, weighting 176.4 lb, Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Niquitin side effects: hypertension, neck pain, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, dysphonia, vomiting, palpitations.
Associated medications used:
  • Ethinylestradiol + Gestodene (1tab Per Day)

This Nausea problem was reported by a pharmacist from ES. A 25-year-old female patient (weight: NA) was diagnosed with the following medical condition(s): ex-tobacco user.On Nov 07, 2013 a consumer started treatment with Niquitin Mini 1.5mg Mint Lozenges (dosage: NA). The following health products were being taken at the same time: NA. When commencing Niquitin Mini 1.5mg Mint Lozenges, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
  • Dyspepsia
  • Nausea
Although all health products are carefully tested before they are licensed for use, they carry potential side effect risks. Some side effects, such as Nausea, may become evident only after a product is in use by the general population.

Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
  • Cardio-respiratory Arrest
  • Laryngospasm
  • Throat Tightness
  • Heart Rate Irregular
  • Chills
  • Hyperhidrosis
  • Heart Rate Increased
  • Dizziness
  • Dyspnoea
This opens a possibility that Niquitin Cq 4mg Lozenge could cause Dyspnoea and that some subjects may be more susceptible.

Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Niquitin side effects: pruritus, headache, vomiting, hypertension. Niquitin Cq 4mg Lozenge dosage: NA.
Associated medications used:
  • Metformin
  • Glimepiride
  • Lantus
The patient was hospitalized.
