Soon after starting Pergolide Mesylate the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Aortic Valve Incompetence
  • Mitral Valve Incompetence
Drugs used concurrently:NA. Although Pergolide Mesylate demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Aortic Valve Incompetence, may still occur.

Location: NETHERLANDS , 58 years of age, Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Pergolide side effects: agoraphobia, anxiety, aortic dilatation, aortic valve incompetence, cardiac failure, condition aggravated, dyspnoea, dystonia, mitral valve disease.
Associated medications used:
  • Citalopram Hydrobromide (10 Mg;daily;oral ; 20 Mg;daily;oral)
  • Amantadine Hcl
  • Selegiline
  • Levodopa
  • Oxazepam
  • Zolpidem
The patient was hospitalized.

A case of a 77-year-old patient (weight: NA) from UNITED KINGDOM was presented. The patient developed the following symptoms/conditions: NA and was treated with Pergolide Mesylate (dosage: 2 Mg) starting NS. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Entacapone
  • Co-beneldopa
  • Aspirin
  • Furosemide
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Aortic Valve Sclerosis
    • Atelectasis
    • C-reactive Protein Increased
    • Carbon Monoxide Diffusing Capacity Decreased
    • Dyspnoea
    • Pleural Disorder
    • Pleural Effusion
    • Pleural Fibrosis
    • Po2 Decreased
    This opens a possibility that Pergolide Mesylate could cause Dyspnoea and that some subjects may be more susceptible.
