This case suggests a potential Prozac Depression side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A 83-year-old female patient from FR (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): bipolar i disorder,neoplasm malignant and used Prozac (dosage: NA) starting Nov 23, 2012. Soon after starting Prozac the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Cachexia
  • Multi-organ Failure
  • Depression
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Crizotinib (500 Mg, Qd)
  • Crizotinib (500 Mg, Bid)
  • Seresta (10 Mg, Qd)
  • Although Prozac demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Depression, may still occur.

    Adverse event was reported on Feb 11, 2014 by a male taking Prozac (Dosage: NA) . Location: US , 13 years of age, weighting 125.0 lb, Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Prozac side effects: anxiety, hallucination, dizziness. The patient was hospitalized and became disabled.

    This Suicidal Ideation problem was reported by a physician from US. A 30-year-old patient (weight: NA) was diagnosed with the following medical condition(s): depression.On NS a consumer started treatment with Prozac (dosage: 20 Mg, Each Morning). The following health products were being taken at the same time:
  • Trazodone (50 Mg, Each Evening)
  • Trazodone (250 Mg, Each Evening)
  • Disulfiram (500 Mg, Qd)
  • Diazepam
  • When commencing Prozac, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Poisoning
    • Suicidal Ideation
    • Pressure Of Speech
    • Clumsiness
    • Irritability
    • Euphoric Mood
    • Lethargy
    The patient was hospitalized. Although all health products are carefully tested before they are licensed for use, they carry potential side effect risks. Some side effects, such as Suicidal Ideation, may become evident only after a product is in use by the general population.

    A case of a patient (weight: NA) from US was presented. The patient developed the following symptoms/conditions: NA and was treated with Prozac (dosage: 4 20mg Prozac 90mg Amphetamine, Prozac Qa Amp Tid, Taken By Mouth) starting Oct 30, 2013. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Amphetamine Salts (30mng Tid, Three Times Daily, Taken By Mouth)
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Euphoric Mood
    • Feeling Abnormal
    • Aggression
    • Dissociation
    • Hallucination
    • Body Temperature Fluctuation
    • Pyrexia
    • Pain
    This opens a possibility that Prozac could cause Feeling Abnormal and that some subjects may be more susceptible.
