Reactine Dyspnoea Causes and Reviews

When you're short of breath, it's hard or uncomfortable for you to take in the oxygen your body needs. You may feel as if you're not getting enough air. Sometimes you can have mild breathing problems because of a stuffy nose or intense exercise. But shortness of breath can also be a sign of a serious disease.

Many conditions can make you feel short of breath:

  • Lung conditions such as asthma, emphysema, or pneumonia
  • Problems with your trachea or bronchi, which are part of your airway system
  • Heart disease can make you feel breathless if your heart cannot pump enough blood to supply oxygen to your body
  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Allergies

If you often have trouble breathing, it is important to find out the cause.

The side effects I have encountered are muscle cramping in my thighs and my foot arches, almost like a charley horse. I have never experienced nothing like this before. I take Symbicort for my asthma, and one of the side effects is throat irritation. So I wrote the funny feeling in my throat and mouth off, as just purely throat irritation due to taking Symbicort. Unfortunately in doing so I began to experience mouth numbness and numbing of my toungue as well. Finally I began to wake up during the night barely able to breath, and it felt like something was in my throat, and no I was not having an asthma attack. I have been off of Reactine for just 2 days now and I haven't experienced any of my usual effects. Unfortunately my allergies are going nuts now because I'm to afraid to try another allergy medication.

The side effects from Reactine were strange, dizziness, extreme fatigue, a cold sore (which may or may not have been caused by Reactine on my lip). I only took it for two days (do not know the dosage, one pill each day). The day after taking it, I was with two friends and suddenly could not stop laughing for about five minutes.

Took one on Monday afternoon. Tuesday night slept badly and had a headache in the back left side of the head but attributed it to a flu or something. Second one brought on very painful migraine. I have been a migraine sufferer in the past but at age 57, they are almost a thing of the past. Ouch!
