Reclast Chills Causes and Reviews

Plague is an infection caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis. The bacteria are found mainly in rats and in the fleas that feed on them. People and other animals can get plague from rat or flea bites. In the past, plague destroyed entire civilizations. Today plague is uncommon, due to better living conditions and antibiotics.

There are three forms of plague:

 • Bubonic plague causes the tonsils, adenoids, spleen, and thymus to become inflamed. Symptoms include fever, aches, Chills, and tender lymph glands.
 • In septicemic plague, bacteria multiply in the blood. It causes fever, Chills, shock, and bleeding under the skin or other organs.
 • Pneumonic plague is the most serious form. Bacteria enter the lungs and cause pneumonia. People with the infection can spread this form to others. This type could be a bioterror agent.

Lab tests can diagnose plague. Treatment is a strong antibiotic. There is no vaccine.

Reclast Chills Reviews

Sun, 16 Dec 2012

I just had a reclasp injection 24 hours ago. I have severe joint, bone, and muscle pain. I am sick at my stomach. Can't sleep. All I can do is lay in bed. I have the Chills and a fever. I have lost control of my bladder. What can I do to survive this.

One thing to keep in mind when you see all of these negative posts. Most people who had a pleasant experience or not going to post on the internet. For every negative post, who knows how many positive comments there could be that are not posted. I had my Reclast infusion yesterday. Had some pain and Chills last night. Feel a little "blah" today, but hoping for a better day.

I had my RECLAST on THURSDAY, NOV, 6th at 1:30 in the afternoon. I started out with a slight headache, 8;30 p.m.I had the worst Chills I have ever experienced in my life..I am 71 yrs old.My family ended up putting 8 blanketson me. I don't know if it was all the covers on me or my 103+ temperature, I finally started to get warm. I had such a severe headache, amp;amp; my bones felt like someone was breaking them, all over my body. My family put 4 different calls into the dr. only to be told this is normal. I would love to know if any dr. or nurse ever had this injection. I THINK NOT. WE ARE THIER GUINI PIGS. You have heard the saying the cemetaries are full of drs. mistakes. It is Sunday the 9th,amp;amp; I still feel awful. I will pray for all of you that you will get better. I know one thing they better never ask me to get another shot. My bones hurt terrible.

quot;Association does not equal causationquot;: posters seem to assume that any symptom occurring within a year of the Reclast infusion is caused by Reclast (just noticing that, and wondering whether the manufacturer needs to do a better job of educating and reassuring patients and physicians). Following my first Reclast infusion I experienced moderate bone pain on Days 2 and 3; it was relieved by Advil. I had no fever, Chills, or malaise and have since had nothing unusual happen. Discussions on an osteoporosis forum suggested that those of us who hydrated VERY thoroughly before and immediately following the infusion were less troubled by side effects. My second infusion is coming up now in a month and, as before, I will drink at least 2 quarts of liquid a day the day of the infusion and for two days preceding it. I refused oral osteoporosis drugs because of the esophageal and gastric hazards, and I am very grateful for Reclast. Disclaimer: I don't work for the company that makes it and am not a medical professional.

I was not given any instructions about drinking extra fluid before the infusion of Reclast. I was only told to take 2 extra strength tylenol. I was a little achy the first night and next morning. The later in the morning, all at once I started feeling sick and extreme aching. I had Chills and fever. This lasted all night. The next 2 weeks were a nightmare. I developed locked jaws, iritis in both eyes, and extreme ear pain. I could not take pain medicine, so I took Advil which took the edge off of the pain. I even had my dentist check my teeth out just in case I had an abcessed tooth. I did not have one. I have lost some eyesight in one of my eyes. Now my blood pressure and sugar levels are going crazy. I wished that I had of checked out all of the side effects! I only checked out the side effects on the Reclast website. I will never take this medicine again.

I took my first dose of Reclast in March. Within 12 hours, I experienced flu-like symptoms --- Chills, severe headache, high temperature, and body aches. I had the symptoms for approximately 72 hours but they decreased in gradually over that 72 hour period. I had been on Boniva for approximately one year and couldn't take it because of the GI effects. I will continue to use Reclast once yearly because I believe the side effects are mild compared to the good that result from using it.

I took my iv of Reclast. After 24 hours the train drop on me. High fever, sweating, Chills, muscle cramps, pain but pain....in all my bones, headaches, nausea, and very hard time walking. After severe dosis of vicodin I overcome the fever but my stomach was very sensitive. Call the doctor and they told it was a "normal side effect" gee I wish somebody tell me that. After that, the pain continue (excrutiating pain) in my right leg, I walk like an old lady, sweating, diarrea and if I dont take tylenol I can not go to work. Energy went running out of my body; I was very hyper now you don't recognize me: am weak, tired with no energy just for a couple of hours and then I just dream to be home and collapsed. For a person who went to the doctor with full histamine is scaring to see these changes. I am afraid to think about what else can come to me. Am trying to force myself to be like before and I am scare. Aura Collins//Austin, Tx 05/07/2010

If I had known sooner, I definitely would NOT have had Reclast. I experienced severe Chills, flu symptoms for 24 hours, and was extremely weak...
