Male patient reported the following Pradaxa side effects :
Heartburn, Bleeding Gums

Unprecedented Heartburn episodes once or twice weekly after taking Pradaxa (usually the night dose). They last for an hour or two. Expecially severe if I lay down within an hour afterward. Less frequent now that I know the effects, and how to minimize them. Survived the first four months - may decide to switch back to Warfarin and the monthly blood tests for $5 a month.

Medication Dosage: 150 mg daily
Medication Frequency: 2x daily
Patient Age: 61
Patient Weight: 260
Other medications: Atorvastatin, Metoprolol, Lisinopril for years
Diagnosis: A-Fib
Pre-existing conditions: M.I. 8 years ago at 54 y.o.
