Chantix report #SELF-1542


Female patient reported the following Chantix side effect(s):pain under rib cage area, hypothyroidism, insulin resistant, diabetic diagnosis, severe leg adema, vitamin D deficient.

I took Chantix for 3 months to quit smoking. Before ending the 3 month cycle, I was diagnosed with hypothroidism, with insulin resistance, pre-diabetic condition and pain under my rib cage area, vitamin D deficient. Prior to taking Chantix, I had a physical by my physican and blood work completed in which none of these side effects were found in.
