Vasotec report #SELF-209


Female patient reported the following Vasotec side effect(s):Weakness, no appetite or thirst, constant coughing.

Twenty four hours after taking the medication I felt weak, lethargic, wanted to stay in bed all day. Total loss of appetite, not even thirst. Developed a hacking cough, especially in the afternoons and nights.

Event date: Tuesday May 20th 12:00:00 AM
Dosage: 40 mg.
Frequency: Once nightly.
Age: 56
Weight: 160
Other medications: Singulair, 10 mg.
Diagnosis: Erratic and moderately high blood pressure levels.
Pre-existing conditions: Asthma, allergic to animals (horse, cat, dog) dander, hair, saliva; mold, dust. In the past, have had similar side effects with steroid inhalants and steriods, including all over cramping.
