Male patient reported the following Hibiclens - Chlorhexidine Gluonate 4%. side effect(s):Shampooed scalp, rinsed off, immediatley my scalp was a deep red.It has now been 4 days and it is barley sudsiding. Does itch, burn or hurt. No skin peel. Just red & discolored. Have only used once.
None known. I just did one shampoo as directed and it occurred.

Other medications: Bactrim internally. Mupirocin Externally Cardura internally for B.P. Benicar internally for B.P.
Diagnosis: Given by Physician for what he believes is MRSA of the scalp. Have a scalp problem for 1.5 years. It was thought to be yeast, but now they thinks it\'s MRSA.
