Boniva report #SELF-2101

Female patient reported the following Boniva side effect(s):Flu like symptoms accompanied with vomiting, weakness, severe pain in spine, legs, collar bone, ribs and chest. Severe stomach pains

After 24 hours of the first dose of Boniva, flu-like systoms began to set in. Weakness with aches in arms and legs were experienced. Later on in the day I was unable to keep food down, vomiting and constant nausea. Severe pains in spine, collar bone and ribs began to set in. The next day the pain seemed to worsen and my body felt like I had been run over by a bus. The pain in my ribs and collar bone were unbearable. It has been five days since I took the medication and the pains in my stomach are pretty bad. I am very concerned that this medication has caused some severe damage to my stomach. Wish I had investigated Boniva more thoroughly before I agreed to take it.
