Mucinex DM, Maximum Strength report #SELF-2217


Female patient reported the following Mucinex DM, Maximum Strength side effect(s):severe diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, pain in legs, dizziness, drowsiness.

I took two Mucinex DM capsules for cough relief and approximately one hour later began experiencing severe diarrhea, stomach pain and nausea. After another hour the pain spread to my upper legs and then into my calves shortly thereafter. I began to feel dizzy and drowsy when the pain in my legs bagan (2 hours after ingesting medication).
