Nexium report #SELF-2219
Female patient reported the following Nexium side effect(s):fatigue, nausea, extreme anxiety, insomnia, trouble breathing, shaking, vomiting, diarrhea, sadness and depression for no reason, suicidal, loss of appetite, loss of weight
I started taking the pill to cure my stomack from the vomiting. At the same time I took primperan so I didn\'t vomit. After the 2nd or 3rd day on the medication, some of the side effects I mentioned started with dominant the ones of nausea, anxiety and loss of appetite. As days went by, my psychological health became worse and worse. I was panicked over simple things, like going to work. I cried for no reason and I had trouble breathing. I thought I was going crazy and was about to visit a therapist, when I remembered having read some of the side effects of Nexium. I stopped taking it, 3 days ago and I feel much better. I still have an unexplained sadness from time to time and nausea when I wake up, but I hope it will soon get out of my system.

Diagnosis: A sickness I had at the 25th of December (vomit and diarrhea, while for some close to me lasted 3 days, it exceeded 2 weeks for me. I visited a doctor and suggested Nexium to heal the stomach from the recurring vomiting.
Pre-existing conditions: None, and about the depression, anxiety etc, I had never experienced anything similar before.
