Male patient reported the following Mucinex side effect(s):Laryngitis, Asthma-like symptoms, Throat red & veined,Hives (as if poison ivy were in my body), severe stomach pain

As a Pro Singer & Salesman, voice became hoarse which prevented me from singing over the holidays, and at end of day, I could barely phonate just from speaking. Excessive dryness & asthma like symptoms caused me to go to hospital for evaluation. Scope showed throat as Red & Veined. Also had severe Stomach pains, and Hives (as though poison ivy were running through my body. Summer 2008, I rec\'d a bee sting where my arm swelled as though allergic to Bees. I\'ve never been allergic to bee stings). I hope that there is no permanent damage as I have pro singing jobs coming up in NYC.
