Female patient reported the following Lamictal Fourteen days of 25 mg and everything was fine. Then started 50mg. for only 3 days. side effect(s):Fourteen days of 25 mg and everything was fine. Then started 50mg. for only 3 days. The very next day I was sick with swollen glands, sore throat, chills, headache,body aches,runny nose, then stuffy nose, hard to breathe, my lungs felt tight, heart and chest pain. The worse was the pain in the back of my head where is actually felt like a drill was digging into my brain. On the third day I told my children that I might not get better, I kept feeling worse Was not feeling better and on the fourth day didn\'t take the the Lamictal. Now it is the fifth day and the and headache is gone, sore throat and swollen glands are gone and my lungs breathe fine. I have not been sick in over a year and this came on so fast. Then when I stopped the Lamictal I have feel much better.
