Avelox report #SELF-2533
Female patient reported the following Avelox side effect(s):by the 8th day of taking Avelox I quit due to being nearly crippled w/back pain, leg pain, joint pain and difficulty walking. I also had a LOT of flatulence and constipation was severe. I felt like I had been \"punched\" in my stomach and kidneys. I was weak and trembly; felt numb from the knee down. Several days later I developed a rash I felt might be yeast, because it itched, and was in the genital area. But there is no discharge. There are red, whelpy, bumps covering the outer labia and down my inner thighs that itch a great deal, but I don\'t think it is yeast now. I think this is another delayed side effect of the Avelox.

Diagnosis: bronchitis and sinusitis. Worked great and I was cured of all the symptoms of Bronchitis and sinisitus, but the side effects were worse than what I was being treated for.
Pre-existing conditions: none...except smoking which had recently been quit. Still quit.
