Female patient reported the following Boniva side effect(s):5 episodes of very near fainting spells--hot, clammy, weakness and shakiness of legs with inability to stand, accompanied with pain in throat and jaws. (24 hours on heart monitor/EKGs/heart enzymes/thallium stress test and brain tests were all normal.

I felt as if I was going to pass out (lose consciousness)--hot, clammy, things got black and sound seemed to become muted/distant, legs so weak I could not stand and I felt very shakey/weak afterwards. I have had 5 episodes since starting the med in Jan. I have no history of diabetes and all labs were okay in the hospital.
