Female patient reported the following Veramyst side effect(s):Vision impaired.
Used Veramyst since spring 2008. Considered it a wonder drug. On Friday, Jan 30, 2009, woke up in the am with impaired vision. I had by accident left off the Veramyst as one of my medications when the three eye specialists at SWMedical School were seen on Feb. 4. Surgery was scheduled that day for the next Monday. The drs did not know the reason for the detachment but labeled it as chronic.

Other medications: synthroid, premarin, adderall, albuterol, benadryl, trazodone, vit c, co q 10, multivitimin.
Diagnosis: Severe allergic rhinitis and asthma due to air born allergy.
Pre-existing conditions: Severe allergy to fungus but also to many other airborne items. IF allergic rhinitis not controlled, response escalated to asthma. Veramyst solved all my breathing problems! Loved it.
