Female patient reported the following Boniva side effect(s):chills, fatigue, pain in all joints especially jaw, neck and shoulders

The first dose resulted in fatigue, chills, with joint and muscle aches. I thought I had the flu and treated it as such. The symptoms diminished after two weeks. Took second dose the following month. I again had fatigue, chills and every joint in body ached especially my jaw, neck, shoulders, elbows and knees. The pain was so severe I couldn\'t sleep or place any pressure on my joints. The following two weeks I spent in bed. Normally I am an active adult female that participates in many sports. This has happened over two years ago and I am still suffering from joint pain. How long does this last?
