Diagnosis: I have type 2 diabetic situation and recentloy my physician recommended metformin. In the 2nd week I had to face a terrible situation with joint pains, muscels pains. I also have had gout attac 3 years before and I had to face the same situaion. I talked to the Dr. and he asked me to stop taking metformin. I still have the joint paints and now taking the indomethicin as a tratment. Hope this pain go away with the use of indomethicin.
