*RECLAST* Intervenous infusion. report #SELF-3320
Female patient reported the following *RECLAST* Intervenous infusion. side effect(s):Very bad body aches about 2 days after Reclast infusion. I was not surprised because the information said this may happen. I began to feel better, (almost normal) and then, 12 days after the infusion, I ended up in the hospital with both of my lungs filled with extensive clots (Pulmonary Emboli) and a heart attack. My entire stay in the hospital was 26 days. I suffer every day with horrible pain in my back and my joints. I have difficulty now getting up out of a chair because my legs are affected. There\'s no way to prove all this took place because of the Reclast but I know I will never receive another infusion. I have never felt this bad in my entire life...all 67 years.
Received Reclast Infusion on 02-18-2009. Twelve days later I was taken into our local E.R. and admitted with extensive blood clots and a heart attack.
