Frequency: 3 in morning and 3 at nite
Age: 73

Diagnosis: Feb 2009 swelling of the knees and removal of 15cc of fluid from knees. Couldn\'t walk. MRI showed tears in the maniscus at same locations in both knees. Stopped taking Welchol, did not take any medication for the condition and in about 4 weeks swelling was mostly gone but a lot of inflamation remained. The orthopedic surgon recomende no medication, but to start therapy, which I have done. (I can\'t take anti-inflamatories due to kidney problem). June 2009 I am now walking for short periods with some pain. I am to continue with the therapy and return to him in august. I experienced a similar problem when taking Zetia in 2006 and I experienced swelling and extreme redness below the knees after taking it for a couple months. I stopped taking it and in a few days all the redness and swelling was gone.
