Bactrim (Sulfameth/Trimethroprim) report #SELF-3527
Female patient reported the following Bactrim (Sulfameth/Trimethroprim) side effect(s):Where should I begin? And this was the second time I have ever taken Bactrim (Sulfameth/trimethoprim). Started with nausea, almost constant...and had no appetite. Worst headache I have ever had..for hours...go away then come back. Emotional...I would just start crying...just felt very \"off\". Diarrhea, but stopped when I quit eating because of nausea. Noticed a metal taste in my mouth and really bad breath. Next was terrible joint pain and tenderness...especially intense lower back pain. Anxious feeling, tingling feeling, pins and needles feeling in my legs and feet, and feet got cold off and on. Took 6 out of 10 pills. I think I must know what being poisoned feels like...or being toxic or something...no joke. I will never take this again.
