Female patient reported the following I\'m not sure as I began several (3) meds since June, but the most recent was generic Ultram. I believe now it was the Ultram. side effect(s):At first I just thought I\'d burned my tongue but it didn\'t get better, it got worse. Then red spots appeared and became sore, my tongue began to swell, my throat was sore, and then the gland on the right side became swollen.
My tongue became swollen with hives on it, then sores in mouth, trouble breathing.

Other medications: Neurontin, Lunesta, morphine in pain pump, hormone pills, Effexor, & ulcer med.
Diagnosis: Moderate to severe pain, I\'ve had 3 fusions in my neck, only the top 2 aren\'t fused. I also have severe fibromyalgia pain.
Pre-existing conditions: I do have food allergies but this is the first for any medication.

Other serious medical events? Yes Had to stop all meds to figure out which one caused the reaction.
