Female patient reported the following Keppra (generic form however). Taking a total of 4000 mg per day. 2000 am and 200 pm. side effect(s):Started feeling light-headed, dizzy. Was diagnosed with vertigo on 7/1/09, but Dr thought I also had some ear infection. Took Zithromax til complete. Verigo feelings improved but never went away. Had CT scan done on 7/9 which was clear. Still having vertigo feelings..some days with nausea...
Had Keppra dosage modified near the beginning of March. Was taken off Depakote (due to weight gain)...reducing Depakote amt while increasing Keppra.
