Champix Side Effect Report#3605 incredible irritability, wanted to tear my skin off, snappy,& very aggitated had to take some herbal calmative it helped a little, then just wanted the day to go away, so closed my curtains took my night time sleeping pill at 11am and slept it off felt much better by around 9pm.... i have noticed that my periods are almost non exsistent... ive been on champix for 3 weeks... and not smoking at all for 12 days... after being a packet a day consumer... im wondering if there is a link between champix and loss of periods as im not taking any other medication apart from my over the counter sleeping tablet for my insomnia which i have suffered from for approx 20years... i take a half recommended dose is 1 to 2 tablets... i have always suffered from heavy periods and im not complaining about not having them, its wonderful... i have had no symptons of menapause im 45yrs old and both my mother and older sisters did not start menapause well into the mid to late 50\'s...
