Female patient reported the following Xifaxan side effect(s):My pulse suddenly became very rapid and my blood pressure shot up ater just taking a total of 2 pills.

I called my gastroenterologist and asked if this episode could be related to Xifaxan since I had just started taking it the night before. He said he doubted it...to take one more pill and see if I get the same reaction, then call and he\'ll try something else.
