Male patient reported the following Lantus side effect(s):within a week of beginning Lantus, my stomach began to swell and I gained 10 lbs. I developed extreme fatigue and I could no longer exercise comfortably although I had exercised for year four to five days per week! Nothing has changed although I\'ve had numerous tests and ex-rays at Beth Israel in Boston - If there is a class action suit put my name on the list. It has seriously had a deliterious effect on my life.
