Female patient reported the following Triam/Hctz 37.5 (generic for Maxzide) side effect(s):Waves of severe dizziness to the point of near fainting. Each wave about 5 to 10 minutes apart for two hours, then gradually subsiding over time to lesser intensity and duration.

Near loss of consciousness, on the fourth day after starting the medication.
