Female patient reported the following Chantix side effect(s):Since I have stopped smoking with the Chatix I have had increasing joint pain that I have never had before. I have had all kinds of blood work and test and they all come back clean. I have also had some days where I just can\'t get a \"clear head\" like I\'m just in a fog and it has never happened to me before taking this medication. Weight gain of 40 pounds.

I have had since stopping the medication and smoking almost one year ago, increased joint pain and muscle pain. I have never had any pain like this before. I have early onset arthritis but it was limited to mild pain and only in my two fingers and one knee. Now I have pain in every joint and it\'s getting worse. There are also days that I just can\'t seem to get my head clear. It is like when you take a medication that can make you drowsy and I haven\'t taken any. They just kind of come and go. I have also put on 40 pounds desite every effort to not gain weight. I cut back my calories and ate heathier foods, drank more water, and kept active. I weigh more now than I did being pregnant with either of my children. I am at almost the one year mark and still can\'t loose it despite all efforts.
