Xylocaine and lignocaine report #SELF-4253

Female patient reported the following Xylocaine and lignocaine side effect(s):On many occasions I\'ve become ill immediately after xylocaine and other local anaesthetics containing adrenaline. Once, during surgery for which I was awake, the surgeon injected it without telling me. He thought that if I didn\'t know, I wouldn\'t react, but I certainly did! Once, during dental surgery the dentist mocked me for not wanting anaesthics with adrenaline, because adrenalin is produced naturally in the body. He laughed and laughed at me (while I was having oral surgery!) He injected it without me knowing and was shocked when I suddenly became ill and needed emergency care. I dental student, observing the surgery told me laterthat xylocaine had been used.
