Female patient reported the following Lantus side effect(s):With the start of insulin - Lantus /Novolog- I have experienced weight gain, swelling, numbness in hands and most worrisome is constipation. If I stop the Lantus I am regular within two days. I can start it back and not have a BM for 4 days. Also now I am beginning to notice some slight memory loss.
