Female patient reported the following Dysport side effect(s):eyelids drooped, speech impairment (lisp),insomnia,loss of appetite,swelling beyond injection site, rash beyond injection site, one side of face drooping, mouth crooked, nose now going into eye area
Plastic surgeon injected me with dysport for forehead and swore to me that there was NO chance of any reaction to this drug. I was so concerned that I even had asked if he could just do one injection to be sure I wouldn't have any allergic reaction. To that he just laughed at me for being overly concerned to a drug he promised was extremely safe and never migrates to any other areas. Sadly, I trusted him.

Medication Dosage: 180 units of Dysport Medication Frequency: ONCE was enough Patient Age: 63 Patient Weight: 152 Other medications: Crestor, Lexapro, Aciphex Diagnosis: Plastic Surgeon insisted there were no side effects as I was greatly concerned all I wanted was Ulthera treatment. Pre-existing conditions: Allergic to most anti-biotics, especially penicillin (which is why I was so concerned). Caucasian, smoker. He had a list of all medications and that I was a smoker. Hospitalized? Yes Plastic Surgeon thought it was a stroke so went to ER immediately, he completely discounted that Dysport had anything to do with my problems. Life-threatening? No Disabled? Yes 10 weeks and symptoms continue Birth Defects? No Was intervention required to prevent damage? No Other serious medical events? No Died? No |
