Lovastatin - problem showed up slowly over a 6 month period report #SELF-911
Male patient reported the following Lovastatin - problem showed up slowly over a 6 month period side effect(s):1. very poor sleep - wake up almost every hour 2. increased anxiety, irregular heart beats 3. gassy stomach 4. weight dropped from 150 to 142
Started lovastatin in evening Because of stomach gas, switched to morning sleep slowly got worse stopped lovastatin after waking almost every hour

Dosage: started with 10mg, later cut it to 5mg
