Soon after starting Seroquel the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Diabetes Mellitus
  • Glycosylated Haemoglobin Increased
  • Hyperglycaemia
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Zyprexa
  • The patient was hospitalized. Although Seroquel demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Diabetes Mellitus, may still occur.

The following health products were being taken at the same time: NA. When commencing Seroquel, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Cerebral Infarction
    • Insomnia
    • Off Label Use

    • Pancreatitis
    • Psychotic Disorder
    This opens a possibility that Seroquel Xr could cause Pancreatitis and that some subjects may be more susceptible.
