Spironolactone Back Pain Causes and Reviews
If you've ever groaned, "Oh, my aching back!", you are not alone. Back pain is one of the most common medical problems, affecting 8 out of 10 people at some point during their lives. Back pain can range from a dull, constant ache to a sudden, sharp pain. Acute back pain comes on suddenly and usually lasts from a few days to a few weeks. Back pain is called chronic if it lasts for more than three months.
Most back pain goes away on its own, though it may take awhile. Taking over-the-counter pain relievers and resting can help. However, staying in bed for more than 1 or 2 days can make it worse.
If your back pain is severe or doesn't improve after three days, you should call your health care provider. You should also get medical attention if you have back pain following an injury.
Treatment for back pain depends on what kind of pain you have, and what is causing it. It may include hot or cold packs, exercise, medicines, injections, complementary treatments, and sometimes surgery.

Spironolactone Back Pain Reviews

I am a female patient from NY, age 33. I am being treated for Hashimoto Thyroiditis with Synthroid and Cytomel. I was concerned that after 11 years since my diagnosis, my hair is still falling out at an alarming rate. My doctor noticed that my testosterone levels were a bit high and decided to treat me with Spironolactone (50 MG). I noticed no difference in the amount of hair loss but have been having constant, uncomfortable eye spasms and a breast tenderness as well as breast enlargement. This is just after a little over a month of treatment. I will stop taking Spironolactone as I do not see it as being beneficial to me. |

I'm a 29 year old female and started taking spiro to get rid of my persistent adult acne. I took 100mg a day for about 2 weeks and it worked really quickly to clear my skin, I also went up an entire cup size which was a bonus and because it stopped any fluid retention I lost a bit of weight as well. |

I was on Spironolactone (12.5 daily) . Hindsight, almost immediately I began suffering from ED. Mixed symptoms thought at the time from Diabetes T2 . Was also on Ace Inhibitors, Digoxin, Ibuprofenm Furosemide. After 18 months suddenly developed MAJOR heartburn and EXTREMELY sore nipples. When GP was told of new symptons, was immediately told to halt Spiron. I have been off of it for 4 months now, but STILL experience nipple pain. Can anyone tell me how to stop the pain ?? I was told that it would go away, but I am starting to wonder. I am a 58 yo WM, 5'7, 250# . My chest has increased 2 'cup' sizes at least. Would like to find out how to reverse these unwanted effects. |

I'm 27 f female from aust, i have been taking Spironolactone for about four months now. I have been prescribed this due to hair loss (thining really quickly) and i have found it to be amazing! I have been having mood swings as a result and headaches... however apart from that I couldnt be happier. My hair has stopped falling out! the hair i have is so much thicker and healthier... i dont wear a hat anymore and i got a knot in my hair for the first time yesterday.. sounds strange, but i was over the moon about it :) being able to grow my hair again has made me so happy I have had to take regular blood test to keep an eye on my levels. So far so good :) |
