Soon after starting Sulfasalazine the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Cerebral Infarction
  • Hemiparesis
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Headache
  • Pyrexia
Drugs used concurrently:NA. Although Sulfasalazine demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Pyrexia, may still occur.

  • Nausea
This opens a possibility that Sulfasalazine could cause Nausea and that some female subjects may be more susceptible.

Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Sulfasalazine side effects: toxic epidermal necrolysis, stomatitis, lymphadenopathy, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, nausea, oedema, pharyngitis. Sulfasalazine dosage: Unk, 3x/day.

  • Amitriptyline (Unk)
  • Calcitriol (Unk)
  • Cefazolin (Unk)
  • Clonazepam (Unk)
  • Hydrochlorothiazide (25mg Daily)
  • L-thyroxin (0.15 Mg, Unk)
