Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia and was treated with IMATINIB MESYLATE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: central nervous system leukaemia, coordination abnormal, fistula, headache, paraesthesia, paresis, surgery, . IMATINIB MESYLATE dosage: 600 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with IMATINIB MESYLATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

GLEEVEC problem was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Apr 18, 2007. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with GLEEVEC. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: central nervous system leukaemia, osteomyelitis fungal, . GLEEVEC dosage: 400 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with DOXORUBICIN, VINCRISTINE, PREDNISOLONE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, catheter site infection, central nervous system leukaemia, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, hepatic function abnormal, herpes zoster, meningitis, pancytopenia, pseudomonas infection, . TRISENOX dosage: 10.425 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VALPROATE, CYTARABINE, METHOTREXATE, PREDNISOLONE ACETATE, NAFAMOSTATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Revlimid Side Effects Report #5472254-4
REVLIMID problem was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 21, 2007. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 174.2 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with REVLIMID. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: aortic calcification, calcinosis, central nervous system leukaemia, meningism, platelet count decreased, pulmonary granuloma, sepsis, somnolence, white blood cell count increased, . REVLIMID dosage: 50 MG, DAILY X14 DAYS, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROXYUREA, ALLOPURINOL, CIPROFLOXACIN, VALTREX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/02/2007.
