Physician from JAPAN reported VISUDYNE problem on Nov 26, 2007. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 163.2 lb, was diagnosed with polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy and was treated with VISUDYNE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: choroidal dystrophy, disease progression, retinal haemorrhage, visual acuity reduced, vitreous haemorrhage, . VISUDYNE dosage: 6 MG/M^2 ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with MUCOSTA, TOWAMIN, GLIMICRON, ZADITEN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
