CORYNEBACTERIUM SEPSIS : Ambisome Side Effects Report #5513669-5
Health Professional from JAPAN reported AMBISOME problem on Oct 23, 2007. Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with febrile neutropenia and was treated with AMBISOME. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: corynebacterium sepsis, hypokalaemia, neutrophil count decreased, non-hodgkin's lymphoma, renal impairment, . AMBISOME dosage: 250 MG, UID/QD, IV NOS, 150 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, AMIKACIN SULPHATE, KALETRA, ZERIT, EPIVIR, ITRACONAZOLE, ZYLORIC. Patient died on 07/31/2007.

MABTHERA problem was reported by a Physician from GREECE on Mar 20, 2008. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with anaemia haemolytic autoimmune, aplasia pure red cell, granulocytopenia and was treated with MABTHERA. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: aplasia pure red cell, corynebacterium sepsis, septic shock, . MABTHERA dosage: 375 MG/M2, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with NEUPOGEN, PREDNISONE, IMMUNE GLOBULIN, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, RED BLOOD CELLS. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: burkitt's lymphoma, corynebacterium sepsis, diplopia, hypokalaemia, metastases to abdominal cavity, metastases to bone marrow, metastases to central nervous system, metastases to lymph nodes, . AMBISOME dosage: 250 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP; 150 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, AMIKACIN SULPHATE, KALETRA, ZERIT, EPIVIR, ITRACONAZOLE, ZYLORIC. Patient died on 07/31/2007.
