Physician from INDIA reported PREDNISOLONE problem on Oct 29, 2007. Male patient, 31 years of age, was diagnosed with eosinophilia, pain and was treated with PREDNISOLONE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: abdominal pain, gastric lavage abnormal, haematemesis, melaena, multi-organ failure, parasite blood test positive, strongyloidiasis, . PREDNISOLONE dosage: 20 MG /D PO. During the same period patient was treated with RANITIDINE, ANTIBIOTICS. Patient died.

PREDNISOLONE dosage: 25 MG / D PO. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, ANTIBIOTICS. Patient died.

PREDNISOLONE dosage: 20 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with RANITIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
