HEPATIC ISCHAEMIA : Thymoglobulin Side Effects Report #5402238-3
Physician from UNITED STATES reported THYMOGLOBULIN problem on Nov 07, 2006. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 212.5 lb, was diagnosed with liver transplant and was treated with THYMOGLOBULIN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: cholestasis, hepatic ischaemia, kidney transplant rejection, liver injury, liver transplant rejection, . THYMOGLOBULIN dosage: 135 MG ONCE; IV. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, GANCICLOVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Health Professional from FRANCE reported AMBISOME problem on Feb 14, 2008. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with mucormycosis and was treated with AMBISOME. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: cerebral ischaemia, hepatic infarction, hepatic ischaemia, hepatic necrosis, pseudomonas infection, renal failure, venous thrombosis, . AMBISOME dosage: 400 MG, UID/QD, IV NOS; 800 MG, UID/QD, IV NOS; 250 MG, UID/QD, IV NOS. During the same period patient was treated with IMIPENEM, CEFTAZIDIME PENTAHYDRATE, COLIMYCINE, AZACTAM, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, METHOTREXATE, VINDESINE. Patient died on 01/29/2008.
