Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported AVONEX problem on Oct 29, 2007. Female patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and was treated with AVONEX. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: hernia repair, multiple sclerosis relapse, myocarditis infectious, pericardial effusion, . AVONEX dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
